Mac DeMarco drops surprise album with 199 tracks
One Wayne G is the second instrumental album that DeMarco has released this year.
Featuring instrumental songs he worked on between 2018 and 2023, DeMarco's surprise drop is almost nine hours long.
While the majority of the songs are titled with the dates they were recorded and listed chronologically, some songs also have actual titles, including: "She Want The Sandwich", "You Made The Bed", and "Cowboy Shit".
The album arrives just three months after the release of DeMarco’s Five Easy Hot Dogs. Each track on Five Easy Hot Dogs was recorded and mixed in a different city, and titled as such.
DeMarco has announced plans for a world tour later this year, including a three day residency in London at Hackney Empire.
