Lucy Rose unveils new single, "Over When It's Over"
Lucy Rose has shared “Over When It’s Over” as the next track to be lifted from her forthcoming fifth album, This Ain’t The Way You Go Out.
The back story to Lucy Rose’s new record was almost fully informed by the diagnosis of rare pregnancy induced osteoporosis.
“As you can imagine, having a baby combined with my diagnosis, it put a strain on my relationship with my husband. There was a time when I felt like we were just surviving and there was distance, however, like all things, getting through the hard times together has just made us stronger," Rose says of the new single. “We have learnt so much about each other and grown together, and I feel grateful that our love for one another was so strong that we could get through it all.”
follows the release of Lucy Rose’s comeback single, "Could You Help Me", "The Racket", and "Whatever You Want", which came hot on its heels.
This Ain’t The Way You Go Out is released on 19 April through Communion Records, and is available to pre-order now. Remaining tickets for her show at Roundhouse are on sale now.
