Lucy Dacus joins Yo La Tengo to cover The Ronettes and Carole King during third night of Hanukkah residency
For the third night of their Hanukkah residency at NYC's Bowery Ballroom last night (20 December), Yo La Tengo were joined by Lucy Dacus during the encore to perform covers of The Ronettes and Carole King.
After opening their third Hanukkah show with a Bobby "Blue" Bland cover, Yo La Tengo continued with covers of songs by Bob Dylan, The Velvet Underground, and The Monkees, and for the final three songs during the encore, Yo La Tengo welcomed Lucy Dacus to the stage, and they performed covers of The Ronettes' "Walking in the Rain", Dacus' own "First Time" song, and Carole King's "Home Again".

Yo La Tengo's Hanukkah residency at NYC's Bowery Ballroom will continue tonight (21 December).
On Monday (19 December) night, Dacus also stopped by Jack Antonoff's annual Ally Coalition benefit show, where she joined Phoebe Bridgers, Weyes Blood, Matty Healy and Antonoff to cover Jackson Browne's "These Days".
