Watch Lucy Dacus cover Carole King for Best Fit's secret sessions at End of the Road
Lucy Dacus performed her own take on a Carole King's 1971 track "Home Again" as part of her secret set for The Line of Best Fit at End of the Road Festival earlier this month.
The track, taken from the legendary songwriter's seminal record Tapestry was part of a set for Best Fit's secret sessions, which this year saw the likes of Kurt Vile, Soccer Mommy and The Magnetic Fields also taking part.
Dacus' Best Fit End of the Road secret session also coincides with the official release of her "Home Again" and "It's Too Late" covers, which were only previously available as an exclusive 7" single part of Third Man Records’ Carole King Home Again vault package at the beginning of the year.
Watch the performance below.
Best Fit's secret sessions have become a key part of End of the Road each year, bringing together artists from across the line-up in a series of short sets, exlusive cover, collaborations, and live interviews and Q&As. Past guests have included Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Moses Sumney, Alex Cameron, Laura Marling, Patti Smith, and Frightened Rabbit - who played a now iconic version of "The Modern Leper".
