Lucinda Chua links with yeule on new track "Something Other Than Years"
Ahead of releasing her debut album YIAN in a couple of days, Lucinda Chua has released a final preview of the record titled "Something Other Than Years", which features yeule.
"Something Other Than Years" sees Chua unite with yeule, and marks the fourth and final taster of her debut album YIAN, following earlier outings "An Ocean", "Echo" and "Golden".
A press release states that YIAN "means swallow in Chinese, and is part of "Siew Yian", the name given to Chua by her parents to preserve her connection with her Chinese heritage." Eight of the 10 tracks on Chua's debut album were produced and engineered by Chua.
"Something Other Than Years" featuring yeule is out now. Lucinda Chua's debut album YIAN will follow via 4AD this Friday, 24 March, and is available to pre-order now. She'll play London's Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) on 9 May. Tickets are on sale now via lucindachua.com.
