Low cancel August shows due to Mimi Parker's cancer treatment
Low have shared a statement announcing the cancellation of their August shows in the UK and Europe due to "recent developments and changes" with Mimi Parker's cancer treatment.
Low were due to play Green Man Festival this weekend before heading to Finland, Norway, London's All Points East and Edinburgh's Connect Festival, but yesterday (15 August) they shared a statement on socials announcing the cancellation of their August dates.
"As some of you know, Mimi has been fighting cancer," Low wrote. "Recent developments and changes in treatment have made extensive travel impossible at this time. Our hope is that she will respond to new treatments and be able to play the shows we have scheduled for the fall, including the Water Is Life festival in Duluth on September 4."
Low added, "We are very sorry for the inconvenience of ticket shuffling and travel expenses/changes. We welcome your positive hopes/prayers as we hope and pray for you all."
