Lorde teases fans about new music: "I guess I’m not telling, not for a while"
Lorde shares a vague progress update on her new music in a new email to fans, saying she's "not telling, not for a while".
Over the past few months Lorde has hinted that her Solar Power follow-up is already in the works. Just last month she revealed she doesn't "want to wait" and intends "to move as quickly as I fucking can", and in a new email update shared with fans reflecting on her world tour, Lorde did tease fans with a progress update on her new music [via Tumblr].
Lorde wrote, "So. Where to now? [REDACTED] I guess I’m not telling, not for a while. I’ll send you an update from time to time though, now that the laptop’s back online."
She first teased her new era at Primavera Sound LA in 2022, and revealed in October last year that her new music "sounds really really different".
