Lord Apex links up with Freddie Gibbs on the brand new single, "Phoenix"
One of the brightest new artists in the rap landscape right now, 26 year-old Lord Apex unleashes the brand new release in “Phoenix”, featuring legendary US rapper Freddie Gibbs.
"Phoenix" is taken from Lord Apex's highly-anticipated forthcoming studio album The Good Fight.
“The inspiration behind making “Phoenix” was just because I felt I was rising out of the ashes of a volcano, I was going through so much while finishing the album," he explains.
Having blazed one of the most vibrant paths since his breakthrough projects Bamboo Forest and Interplanetary Funk, Apex finds himself sharing the stage with some of America’s finest rap talent, including tours with heavyweights Freddie Gibbs and Action Bronson last year.
