Lola Young announces her new album, This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway
South London singer/songwriter Lola Young has announced her brand new album, This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway, alongside new "Messy".
This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway was recorded in LA and produced by friend and collaborator Solomonophic (Remi Wolf, BROCKHAMPTON, Dominic Fike), and follows Lola Young's previous album, My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely, which was released last year.
“Here is my first born child, a fuck you to all my exes, and basically me just trying to figure out some shit openly and honestly on record. First of many and if you don't like it, then this wasn't meant for you anyway," she says.
This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway is set for release on 21 June via Day One / Island Records, and is available to pre-order now.
