Local Natives share new single, "Alpharetta"
SoCal five-piece Local Natives have released the brand new single, "Alpharetta", as the latest preview of their sixth studio album, But I’ll Wait For You.
"Alpharetta" is a lilting lullaby about the strange and exhilarating feeling of being on the threshold between an old and new life. Guitarist and vocalist Ryan Hahn was inspired to write the track on the cusp of becoming a father.
But I’ll Wait For You is a culmination of nearly two decades of brotherhood, and a mantra of reassurance in response to relentless changes. In a statement about the album the Local Natives said “But I’ll Wait For You is the companion piece to our 2023 release Time Will Wait For No One. Maybe not an answer to a question but an exhale to an inhale. There is so little that’s in our control but among all this chaos, we can choose to be there for each other.”
But I’ll Wait For You is set for release on 19 April via Loma Vista Recordings.
