Lizzo reacts to being namechecked in South Park: "I'm really that bitch"
South Park recently aired a new episode – The End Of Obesity – which served as a parody of the recent resurgence of weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic.
The writers of South Park have come up with a new drug called Lizzo, which as they says during the episode is “a prescription used along with listening to her songs and watching her music videos to become happy with how you look".
One of the characters in the episode visits a doctor to express their frustrations with their weight. As the doctor prescribes the drug, they explain: “I’m going to write you a prescription for Lizzo. She’s a really good singer who talks about body positivity, and just being happy with the way you look. I want you to listen to Lizzo five times a day, and watch her videos just before bedtime. I’m afraid you’ll have to be on Lizzo for the rest of your life.”
Reacting to the episode in a video posted on her socials, Lizzo said: “That’s crazy. I just feel like, damn, I’m really that bitch. I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a fuck to the point where these men in Colorado know who the fuck I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years.”
