
Lizzo performs Lord of the Rings song "Concerning Hobbits" whilst dressed as Legolas
During a recent tour stop in New Zealand, Lizzo visited the set of Lord of the Rings.
During a visit to Hobbiton, whilst dressed as Orlando Bloom’s character Legolas, Lizzo performed the song “Concerning Hobbits” on the recorder. In the caption to the video, she wrote: “Lizzolas in her natural habitat." Katy Perry who is married to Bloom, commenting on the post tagging Bloom, noting that Lizzo is “comin fer yer jerb.”
Many fans have also commented on Lizzo's recorded skills, with one person saying: "The only time in history a recorder has ever sounded good!". Another person who, like Lizzo, plays the flute said: "As a flute player I’m so mad I grew up in the American pie generation and not the Lizzo one".
Lizzo recently made a cameo on Star Wars: The Mandalorian, and The Simpsons, so it wouldn't come as a surprise if she eventually found herself involved in the Lord of the Rings franchise one day.
Lizzo is currently on tour in support of her latest album, Special, which was released in 2022.
