Little Simz and Knucks announced as joint 2022 Album of the Year MOBO Award winners
Both Little Simz and Knucks won the 2022 Album of the Year Award at last night's (30 November) MOBOs.
Last night (30 November) the MOBOs returned to London for its 25th anniversary edition, and as well as featuring a couple of new categories and special honour awards for the late Jamal Edwards, Nile Rodgers and Craig David, the 2022 MOBO Album of the Year Award had two winners for the first time.
The 2022 Album of the Year MOBO Award went to both Little Simz for her Sometimes I Might Be Introvert album, and to Knucks for ALPHA PLACE.

Bob Vylan picked up the first ever MOBO Best Alternative Music Act Award, and the first Best Dance/Electronic Act Award went to Nia Archives, who has also been shortlisted for the 2023 BRITs Rising Star Award.
Mahalia won Best R&B/Soul Act, and Best Newcomer went to Bru-C. Dreya Mac, Felixthe1st & Finch Fetti were awarded the Song of the Year MOBO for "Own Brand (Baddie)", and PinkPantheress was named Best Female Act. Central Cee won two awards including Best Male Act and Video of the Year for "Doja". Other 2022 MOBO winners included D Double E, D-Block Europe, K-Trap, Burna Boy, Kane Robinson, aka Kano, Ezra Collective, Inflo and Skillibeng.
