Little Dragon link up with April + VISTA on the collaborative EP, Slipping Into Color
Little Dragon and Washington D.C. duo April + VISTA have announced a new collaborative EP, Slipping Into Color, which comes ahead of the their joint North American tour.
Earlier this year, the much-loved Grammy-nominated Swedish band released their latest studio album, Slugs of Love, which featured the singles, "Tumbling Dice", “Gold", "Kenneth", and "Slugs of Love". The album is Little Dragon's seventh studio album, and follows on from 2020's New Me, Same Us.
Speaking on how the collaboration came about, Little Dragon explain: “On a recent trip to the US we got to hang with April + VISTA and we couldn’t resist their sound. This EP represents an intense week of diving deep into the musical universe together with them.”
The kindred spirits spent a week together in the Dragons’ Gothenburg studio, “just creating, laughing and sharing stories. We practically lived in the studio, ate breakfast together and made noise for the rest of the day,” recalls April. “Working with Little Dragon on this EP was nothing short of a dream. It’s an experience we’ll always cherish.”
Following their North American run, Little Dragon will also return to Europe for a 10-date run ending at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on 22 November.
Slipping Into Colour is out now via Ninja Tune.
