Lily Allen announces role in Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman play
Lily Allen has announced that she'll star as Katurian in the new West End run of Martin McDonagh's 2003 play The Pillowman.
After making her West End debut last year in 2:22 - A Ghost Story, Allen has announced that she's got the role of Katurian in the first ever West End run of Martin McDonagh's 2003 play The Pillowman.
The Pillowman received its world premiere at London's Royal National Theatre in November 2003, and starred David Tennant as Katurian. The upcoming revival of the play will mark its first run in the West End, and will be the first run since 2013 in Athens, Greece.
Allen will star in the play alongside Steve Pemberton, and Matthew Dunster will direct. It'll also be the first time a female has played the role of Katurian.
