Lil Tjay gives first update since being shot and announces new single "Beat Da Odds"
Lil Tjay has shared his first update since he was shot and hospitalised in June, and has also announced that a new single is arriving later tonight titled "Beat Da Odds".
Back in June New York rapper Lil Tjay was shot in New Jersey, and yesterday (24 August) he returned to socials with his first update since the incident, revealing that he survived "seven shots".
"I just want to say thanks for the love," he said in the video. "Seven shots, it was tough, you know. Most people don’t survive it, but I’m here for a reason. New music coming soon, we’re going to come back stronger than ever."
Today (25 August) he followed up his post with the announcement of a new single titled "Beat Da Odds", which is landing tonight.
