Lil Nas X announces new League of Legends Worlds anthem "STAR WALKIN'"
Lil Nas X has announced a new collaboration with League of Legends, and has created this year's Worlds annual anthem "STAR WALKIN'".
"STAR WALKIN'" was created for League of Legends' 2022 League World Championship, aka Worlds, and will get its debut on 23 September ahead of the beginning of this year's Worlds on 29 September.
Lil Nas X has also worked with the League of Legends creators Riot Games to co-design the Prestige Empyrean K'Sante skin, which will be available in-game worldwide from 3-14 November
"I felt like it was time for me to try something new," Lil Nas X says. "I’ve left my mark on pop culture in so many ways, and now it’s time to take on the world of gaming. I will be the greatest President of League of Legends, of all time. Also I’m going to make the best Worlds anthem of all time and put on the biggest, coolest, sexiest Worlds in the history of all Worlds! "STAR WALKIN'" is the only song anyone is allowed to listen to from now on. Swag fr!"
League of Legends has also shared a comedy skit featuring Lil Nas X to announce the collaboration.
