Liela Moss previews new album with third single "Come and Find Me"
Liela Moss has started 2023 by sharing "Come and Find Me", the third single to be lifted from her Internal Working Model album that's out next week.
"Come and Find Me" will appear on Internal Working Model with last year's Jehnny Beth collaboration "Ache In The Middle" and "Vanishing Shadows" featuring Gary Numan.
Moss says of the song, "The idea running throughout this track is that co-operation is natural, and competition is a construct. “Iʼm trying to be the bigger man, always seeing" ... Using empathy as the guide, we could neutralise the bad guys. My favourite lines are these: ‘This should be embodied dream space, should be free space, should be fair. That’s all’. I mean, that is all, right?! It's such a rhythmic track, and the synth arpeggios layer up in a way that adds electricity and force to the ideas in the song; resistance against obstacles to fairness."
Internal Working Model will follow Moss' 2020 second album Who The Power, and will feature another collaboration with Dhani Harrison.
"Come and Find Me" is out now. Liela Moss' Internal Working Model album will be released via Bella Union on 13 January, and is available to pre-order now.
