04 July 2024, 13:40 | Written by Tyler Damara Kelly

Leigh-Anne will perform a special rendition of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" live at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 5 July.

In celebration of the launch of the Disney x Balmain: The Lion King Collection, Leigh-Anne’s performance will be part of a 30th anniversary screening of The Lion King, with Hans Zimmer’s Academy Award-winning score for the animated classic performed by the Chineke! Orchestra and London Community Gospel Choir, conducted by Sarah Hicks.

The Lion King has a special place in people’s hearts across generations. I adored the film while growing up, so I’m excited to play a small part in this special collaboration between Disney and Balmain to celebrate the 30th Anniversary. It’s a beautiful and powerful celebration of fashion, culture and heritage,” said Leigh-Anne.

Leigh-Anne will take to the stage after Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing introduces the Femi Oladigbolu film that highlights Rousteing’s couture, ready-to-wear and accessory designs for the limited-edition Disney x Balmain: The Lion King Collection. Rousteing’s designs take inspiration from African artisanal traditions, while celebrating the bold visions of a new generation of African talents.
