Le Tigre announce first tour in 18 years
Le Tigre, aka Kathleen Hanna, JD Samson and Johanna Fateman, have announced their first tour in 18 years, which includes three UK shows.
This summer Kathleen Hanna, JD Samson and Johanna Fateman will reunite as Le Tigre for their first tour in 18 years. The trio will play some European, UK and North American shows, beginning in Philadelphia on 27 May. They'll then head to Primavera Sound Barcelona on 1 June, before playing London's Troxy on 3 June. Le Tigre will also play in Manchester and Glasgow before heading back to Spain and Portugal for Primavera Sound Madrid and NOS Primavera Sound.
Le Tigre reunited in 2022 for This Ain’t No Picnic festival, but haven't released new music since 2016's "I'm With Her" song to support Hilary Clinton. Their latest album This Island arrived in 2004.
Last year Kathleen Hanna toured with Bikini Kill, and they also have shows in Australia, New Zealand and North America throughout spring.
Tickets for Le Tigre's upcoming tour go on sale this Friday, 27 January at 9am PST/5pm GMT. Visit letigre.world for more information.
