LCD Soundsystem officially release new single, "x-ray eyes"
Last month, LCD Soundsystem premiered a new track, "x-ray eyes", via NTS radio.
The band have now released the track on streaming platforms, following its first play on NTS. "x-ray eyes" is the first LCD Soundsystem song to be released since 2022 2022's "New Body Rhumba", which marked the group's first new outing since their 2017 album American Dream, and was lifted from the soundtrack of White Noise.
The band is releasing a limited edition run of screen printed 12-inches–– featuring “x-ray eyes” on the A-side along with the never-before-heard trash can dub remix version on the B-side. Only 100 of these will be available exclusively each night of their Los Angeles and New York City run of shows, and will be numbered as well as stamped with the venue and date. 500 will be available for pre-order via DFA Records
