Lava La Rue links up with Audrey Nuna on new single, “Poison Cookie"
Lava La Rue has their latest single, “Poison Cookie”, which features Audrey Nuna and is taken form their forthcoming debut album, STARFACE.
“Poison Cookie” featuring Korean-American artist Audrey Nuna exemplifies 'STARFACE' as a multi-genre, multi-sensory experience. Lava and Audrey explain that they "wanted it to sound like it could’ve been on the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World soundtrack".
“Myself and Audrey had mutual love for each other for a minute now/collabed with similar artists, then one day her 2021 album was the only downloaded project to listen to on a long drive in my partners car so we spun it 3x and my girl turned to me and said “why don’t you get Audrey on your album?” and it really was a moment like “why hasn’t this happened yet?”," Rue explains.
"Poison Cookie" follows previous singles, "LOVEBITES", "Push N Shuv", "Humanity", and "Runaway" .
Lava La Rue has just announced a forthcoming UK tour, STARFACE… Live on EARTH, which will see them playing four shows in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, and London.
STARFACE is scheduled for release on 21 June via Dirty Hit, and is available to pre-order now.
