LAUREL further previews forthcoming album with "Only One"
LA-based singer songwriter LAUREL has shared "Only One" as the fifth single taken from her forthcoming studio album, PALPITATIONS.
Speaking about the inspiration behind "Only One", LAUREL says the track is about: “Falling so deeply in love. It's a new love but a sure love, surer than anything you’ve ever felt. It’s intimidating - you aren’t sure whether you can trust them yet, and they feel the same. A part of you wants to run away, but really you can’t. You don’t have a choice but to see it through because they’re the ‘only one’.”
The new track arrives just weeks after LAUREL’s UK and EU headline tour announcement, marking her return to the stage, following her sold out show at Hackney’s Oslo earlier this year. The tour will kick off on 20 October, at G2 in Glasgow, followed by performances at Academy 3 in Manchester on 21 October, before arriving at the iconic KOKO, London on 22 October.
PALPITATIONS, is set for release on 14 June via Communion Records, and is available to pre-order now.
