Laura Mvula unveils cover of Paul Simon’s "I Know What I Know"
Laura Mvula has released a re-recording of Paul Simon’s "I Know What I Know" as a charity single for John Lewis’ Live Knowingly' campaign.
Launched in September, the campaign celebrates John Lewis' 100-year promise of 'Never Knowingly Undersold,' emphasising the brand’s commitment to price, quality, and trust.
Mvula expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, "I'm thrilled to be involved in this campaign. Being able to contribute to such a meaningful initiative through music is truly special.” The charity single will raise essential funds for the Building Happier Futures fund, a key initiative of the John Lewis Partnership Foundation, that supports care-experienced individuals and helps families create happy, secure homes and nurturing communities.
The 'Live Knowingly' campaign reinforces John Lewis' dedication to providing customers with the best quality and service, matching prices from 25 retailers, including Amazon, AO.com, and M&S. Since its launch, sales have surged, with organic website visits increasing by over 50,000 daily. Proceeds from the campaign will support the Building Happier Futures programme, which helps care-experienced young people enhance their career prospects and find community support.
