Laufey unveils Amazon Music Original track, "Christmas Magic"
GRAMMY-award winning artist Laufey has released a new Amazon Music Original track, "Christmas Magic".
“Christmas Magic” is also featured in the Amazon MGM Studios film, Red One, in UK theatres now. In this holiday action-comedy, Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans team up on a globe-trotting mission to save Christmas. After Santa Claus – Code Name: RED ONE – is kidnapped, the North Pole's Head of Security must join forces with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter to find him. Alongside Johnson and Evans, the film also stars Lucy Liu, J.K. Simmons, Kiernan Shipka and Bonnie Hunt.
“Writing an original Christmas song was such a fun challenge,” says Laufey. “My fans know I love the holiday season, and I wanted to give them something special this year to thank them for all of their support. Then having an original in the film Red One was a pleasure, combining the two was the perfect gift!”
In addition, “Christmas Magic” is featured in an exclusive version of Laufey’s holiday album A Very Laufey Holiday only on Amazon Music.
Fans can also shop a 7” vinyl featuring the track, including a special etching on side B, available for pre-order on Amazon.co.uk.
