Laufey releases new project A Night At The Symphony
Laufey has shared her new project A Night At The Symphony, which was recorded a few months ago with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra during a two-night run at Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík.
A Night At The Symphony is a new 14-track project recorded during her sold out two-night run at Reykjavík's Harpa Concert hall last year, which features the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. As well as featuring songs from her Everything I Know About Love album and her 2021 EP Typical of Me, the project includes reworks of Hoagy Carmichael and Ned Washington’s "The Nearness of You", Cole Porters' "Everytime We Say Goodbye" and Elly Vilhjálms' "Ég Veit Þú Kemur".
A press release notes that Laufey is preparing to release her second album later this year.
