Zola Jesus shares live video for "Go (Blank Sea)"
Zola Jesus has shared a new video for "Go (Blank Sea)", filmed live at the Webster Hall in New York. The track, taken from fifth album Taiga, highlights the bands stunning live performance in a mesmerising video directed by Mark Zemmel.
Nika Roza Danilova (aka Zola Jesus) explained:
'For the past 5 weeks, my band and I have been busy taking TAIGA out on the road. We are officially initiated into the comprehensive world tour for this record. I am so proud of this tour; of my new band (including a live percussionist, trombonist, and resident noisemaker) and of the stage show I was able to conceive with the help of some great minds in lighting and stage production. I thought it was important to memorialize the show, so I have for you all a proper live video of Go (Blank Sea), that was filmed at Webster Hall in New York City.'
A remix album, featuring Diplo and Skin Town, is released on 17 November through Mute.
Zola Jesus will be performing with a brass ensemble at their headline show at Koko, London on 18 November.
