With their debut album looming ever closer, Danish quartet Yung have shared a second single from their upcoming release and announced a string of UK/EU dates.
Hiding a heartfelt fragility behind fericious refrains, "Uncombed Hair" is a near-three-minute venture through turmoil from outside closed doors.
"I literally wrote 'Uncombed Hair' in ten minutes and recorded the song about an hour after that," frontman Mikkel Holm Silkjær reveals. "Which is a big contrast to the more permanent themes that the song addresses."
"It relates to death and depression," he continues, "which was something that was a significantly big part of one of my dear friend's life when I wrote the song and couldn't help but inform my music. So this one is dedicated to bad things and good people."
