Youth of the Apocalypse return with new track "In The Future"
Gorillaz and Klaxons supergroup Youth of the Apocalypse give another insight to their sound with new single "In The Future".
Back in June Youth of the Apocalypse emerged, fronted by Jeff Wootton (Gorillaz) and Jamie Reynolds (Klaxons). Their first single "Drop The Bomb" featured the iconic MF Doom.
Returning four months later, YOTA have shared their second single "In The Future", which fuses a mixture of indie rock and hip-hop.
Commenting on their new offering, YOTA say, "This was the song that first began to give the band our identity; a track that showed what could be achieved if we put our collective strengths together.” "In The Future" ultimately asks the question, “can you feel the virtual world of tomorrow coming, or are we already there?""
YOTA debuted their new material back in summer with a couple of sold out performances at London's XOYO, where Noel Gallagher jumped up to join them on stage.
