Your favourite Spice Girl says a lot about you, according to YouGov
YouGov has released a bunch of Spice Girls-centric stats, and it turns out that your fave could be rather revealing...
Chatting to 31,000 people in Britain has turned up a treasure trove of pop data:
- Baby Spice was picked as people's favourite the most (37%)
- But Scary Spice was picked the least (9%)
- Ginger Spice is most popular amongst males (of those that picked her 60% were male)
- While Posh's pickers tend to be the youngest (40% who consider her their fave are aged 18-34)
- And over 60% of those that plumped for Sporty are at least 45
It also emerges that there's no corrolation between sportiness and love of Sporty Spice, but people who favour Posh consider themselves much more in tune with fashion trends. Scary Spice's devotees are seemingly much more interested in music - 18% describe themselves as 'music obsessives', while over half say they 'love music'. A full 4% of Posh's fans have 'no interest in music' whatsoever.
As well as loving music the most, Scary's fans also tend to have a strong sense of Girl Power, with 31% happy to be described as 'feminist' (compared to only 15-20% for the others). Although 7% of her most hardcore fans still don't believe in gender equality for some dumbass reason.
