You could be off to see Kate Bush thanks to Kids Company
The tickets for Kate Bush’s comeback tour were, as expected, incredibly sought after. Going for over a grand a pop, people were seen scrabbling in the streets like kids in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (this may or may not be an exaggeration). Basically, they’re lucrative, must-have eBay fodder.
If you weren’t able to purchase any on the initial sale, or couldn’t get a mortgage in time for the bidding wars, then you may want to check out this new competition/fundraising campaign. Aiming to raise money for Kids Company, the fundraising page simply asks for a £10 donation, clearly stating your name, to be in with a chance of winning a pair of Kate Bush tickets for 30 September at Hammersmith Apollo. The competition will be drawn 26 September.
