Yellow Days and Mac DeMarco join forces on woozy new track "The Curse"
Yellow Days and Mac DeMarco have joined forces on new song "The Curse", which is lifted from Yellow Days' forthcoming album A Day in a Yellow Beat.
"The Curse" is the fifth track to be shared from A Day in a Yellow Beat, arriving after "Getting Closer", "You", "Love Is Everywhere" and "Treat You Right".
Yellow Days' new single features Mac DeMarco, and arrives with a visual directed by Charlie Robins that combines footage of Yellow Days performing in front of a green screen and a CGI breakdown of creating the animated versions of Yellow Days and Mac DeMarco.
A Day in a Yellow Beat will follow on from Yellow Days' 2017 debut LP Is Everything Okay In Your World?, and will feature collaborations with Bishop Nehru, Shirley Jones and more.
Yellow Days says of the direction of his new music, "I'm trying to brand my own version of ironic dance music full of depressing truths about feeling distant from your friends, or a sense that nothing is worth anything."
