Years & Years share new single "Desire"
Years & Years, on the brink of embarking upon what could become the biggest kickstart to career ever - a tour with Clean Bandit followed by a tour with Sam Smith - are to release a new single called "Desire" 23 November on Polydor.
It's a chunky vintage house number. Stuffed with soulful vox and grandiose pop statements, expect to hear this radio-friendly belter everywhere in the immediate future.
Vocalist Olly Alexander explains the track:
“We started writing the chorus first, which isn’t usually how we write, as “desire” became the hook and statement. The track reminded us of those big 90s house tunes, which we took a lot of inspiration from, including Chicago house, so we wanted to keep that same energy and pace throughout.”
Boogie along to the brilliant beat below. You can find the trio's tour dates afterwards.
