The Wyoming ranch used for Kanye West's listening party has banned all rappers
His eighth solo album ye dropped last Friday, and the ranch he used for the Wyoming listening party has made sure Kanye West is the first, and last rapper to host a big bash at the ranch.
Last week the quaint and picturesque Diamond Cross Ranch in Moran, Wyoming, became the centre of attention as Kanye West hosted his ye listening party.
He must've disturbed the town as The Blast spoke to ranch owner Jane Golliher, who claimed it was the "most confusing" event, despite the positive exposure.
The outdoor reveal of his eighth solo album ye provoked noise complaints from the ranch's neighbours.
Ranch owner Golliher explained that the agenda was changing "every 30 minutes", despite original plans to host the listening party indoors.
The liasion with sound restrictions in the area seemed to be swept under the rug as Kanye West commenced his party at 9:30pm, leaving just 30 minutes for his album to be played in full, which surely isn't that big a deal as the album is just 24 minutes long.
Golliher went on to explain the extent of the chaos, with her husband threatening to pull the plug on the power around midnight.
In light of the problematic event hosted by Kanye West, Golliher says there will be “no more rappers” at the ranch, but she may be open to doing a more daytime friendly music event in the future.
