Wye Oak's Jenn Wasner shares "Semaphore" from her debut album as Flock Of Dimes
Flock Of Dimes - Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak and Dungeonesse - has shared "Semaphore", the lead single from upcoming debut record If You See Me, Say Yes.
This news arrives after Wye Oak's recent surprise record Tween, which arrived last month via Merge.
Wasner says that lead track "Semaphore" is about "communication over great distances - both literal, physical distance and the infinite space that exists between even the closest of people."
Like the rest of the material on the upcoming record, "Semaphore" is written, performed, and produced by Wasner. Mickey Freeland and Aaron Roche helped out on the LP, with John Congleton assuming mixing duties.
If You See Me, Say Yes is out 23 September via Partisan.
