Wu Tang Clan already recording new album
As previously announced, Wu Tang Clan are set to release a new record this year to celebrate 20 years since their debut album was released. It’s now been revealed, however, that it might come sooner than expected.
One of the band’s members, Cappadonna revealed to Radio.com that the group have already started working on the release.
The rapper is quoted as saying:
“A lot of the tracks are lined up and already there. We all have to get a date and go there and submit verses. At that time, may give you a topic or you might hear something going on already. That’s how he designs the songs”.
It’s expected that the 20th anniversary release, the band’s first LP in six years, will drop in November – perhaps even on the same date as debut Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) did (9 November).
