
Woman's Hour to play first show in nearly a year at new London festival next month
Woman's Hour, Wyldest, Mystery Jets (DJ), and more are set for East London's new festival Shake The High Road.
Shake The High Road will pop up in Leytonstone on May Bank Holiday weekend at three venues: The Red Lion, Luna Lounge, and All You Read Is Love.
Woman's Hour return after a long stint on the sidelines as they work towards their second record - the follow up to Conversations, our Debut Album Of 2014. Their return follows 2015's Best Fit Recordings-released Record Store Day 7".
Other bands confirmed for the festival include the aforementioned Mystery Jets (DJs) and Wyldest, plus My Sad Captains, Rory Butler, Jungle Brown, Suns (DJ), Danielle Perry (Absolute Radio) (DJ), Kate Hutchinson (Worldwide FM) (DJ), Deeds, Lazy Days, Vonica, Westerman, Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Quintet, Hermigervill, Cowbell, Snapped Ankles, Kioko, Bullion (DJ), and Selfie Boy. Brass outfit Brassroots will also be presenting a massive Prince Classics Set.
