Wolf Alice unveil remastered My Love Is Cool version of "Bros"
Wolf Alice have unveiled a new, re-recorded version of one of their early singles, "Bros".
It's been worked over and given a modern-day edit, so that the rough-around-the-edges rocky pop sits neatly in their recent canon. It's an early fan favourite, and now is being given a proper launchpad to let a wider audience access the charms.
The band's singer/guitarist Ellie Rowsell says of the track: "Bros is a sentimental tune to us, it's grown and changed with us over the past couple of years, taking on different shapes and forms until it evolved into being this definitive album version. It's an ode to childhood imagination and friendship and all the charm that comes with that. The live response to the song has been truly humbling."
My Love Is Cool is out 22 June on Dirty Hit Records.
