Wiz Khalifa and Sean Paul to headline Bestival
Wiz Khalifa and Sean Paul have been confirmed as the final headliners for Bestival 2016.
Glass Animals and Crystal Fighters have also been added to the eclectic bill.
Khalifa and Paul will bring Bestival 2016 to a close on the Sunday night; The Cure top the bill on Saturday while Major Lazer headline Friday night.
Rob da Bank says of the bookings: “We love a big finale at Bestival, we also love hip-hop and dancehall and a massive soundsystem superclash between Wiz Khalifa and Sean Paul seems like a solid plan to close off another big weekend of music of raving, partying and expanding your minds at Bestival. Pull up!”
Khalifa continued: “Can’t wait to be back in the UK and perform at Bestival. The fans here have such good energy, it’s going to be lit.”
Paul added: “I can't wait to play at Bestival... I’ve heard the grand finale on the Sunday night is the best festival spot in the UK and I'm gonna bring the fyyyaahhh”
As well as the new lineup additions, Bestival are set to host a Purple Rave in honour of late icon Prince - it's described as an "audio-visual fireworks spectacular".
Bestival 2016 takes place 8-11 September at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle Of Wight. Tickets are on sale now.
