Willis Earl Beal streams animated short film 'Principles of a Protagonist'

It’s a little known secret that Willis Earl Beal might just love art as much as music. His album covers and sleeves are all jotted himself, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he’s just debuted an animated short.

The film, entitled Principles of a Protagonist after his comic series of the same title, centres around Beal’s political and philosophic meditations and includes sketched cameos from President Obama, Lionel Ritchie and the musician’s very own cat.
