New XL signing Willis Earl Beal has confirmed his first London show. The Canadian-via-Chicago singer-songwriter, who was apparently ‘discovered’ after leaving CDs scattered around wherever he happened to pass, will play the tiny Power Lunches on Kingsland Road.
Catch him now – because apparently Mos Def is going to make a film about his life, and then one imagines he will be playing rather larger venues that Power Lunches. Tickets here.
