Willie Nelson to host 4/20 livestream Come and Toke It next week
Willie Nelson has announced a new livestream called Come and Toke It, which he will host on the unofficial weed celebration day 4/20.
4/20 is a popular event for weed smokers around the world. Although it's illegal in most countries, 20 April is an annual celebration day for smokers to unite and, well...get high.
Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, country legend Willie Nelson has announced a special four-hours-and-20-minutes livestream taking place on 20 April, aka 4/20, and it's called Come and Toke It.
A mixture of artists, chefs, comedians, and educators will take part in the livestream to celebrate cannabis, and Nelson will host it himself. In the announcement clip, he takes a toke of his weed vape pen, and demonstrates how to pass it on - listen to Musical Youth's "Pass the Dutchie" if you're still unsure.
The livestream will take place on Twitch and Facebook, and aims to raise money for the Last Prisoner Project, which is a "nonprofit coalition of cannabis industry leaders, executives, and artists dedicated to bringing restorative justice to the cannabis industry".
