Will Butler returns with new songs "A Stranger’s House" and "Nearer to Thee"

Willl Butler is back with two new songs "A Stranger’s House" and "Nearer to Thee", marking his first solo releases since announcing his departure from Arcade Fire in March.
"A Stranger's House" and "Nearer to Thee" are the first new solo tracks from Butler since his 2020 album Generations. The first of his new tracks out today is accompanied by a self-directed video.
Back in March Butler revealed that he was working "on a new record".
As well as sharing the new songs, Butler has announced some North American tour dates for August, marking his first shows since 2019.
Will Butler's "A Stranger's House" and "Nearer to Thee" tracks are out now on Merge Records.
