Having announced his upcoming retirement from music, Wiley is seemingly in a gung-ho sort of mood – leaking his own new album online for free.
The move came after the Grime godfather had a few disagreements with iTunes, deciding against waiting around for them to be resolved.
He wrote on Twitter last night:
If ITunes don’t do what i say i am leaking the album at 7 and i am not joking.

Before posting the album here. The original file has now been deleted, but is rapidly being shared around the net.
The Ascent was scheduled to be released on 1 April via Warner Records, who probably aren’t happy with this latest development.
