Kendal-based synthpop foursome Wild Beasts have shared their new video for "Palace".
Directed by Alex Turvey, it's a bizarre kind of emotional mindgame, which sees each member performing the track in a dark, strobey room with a variety of stimuli.
The band's Tom Fleming said of the video:
“The idea of the video was to match the feel of a cheap game show with the content of a rather cruel psychological experiment,” says Fleming. “We wanted to make something that felt like an event and a sort of project, rather than what passes for a trad music video.”
