Wild Beasts are calling it a day
Wild Beasts are calling it a day just over a year on from their fifth record.
Although they intend to call it a day pretty soon, with just a few shows left in the diary, Wild Beasts are planning to leave on a high note: "Before we go, we'd like to celebrate with you and we'll be in touch in the morning with further announcements."
The band explain their decision in a letter which you can read below:
Wild Beasts released their latest album Boy King last year. It was their fifth for Domino and second UK Top 10 following predecessor Present Tense. The Kendal-born four piece, comprising Hayden Thorpe, Ben Little, Chris Talbot, and Tom Fleming, released day album Limbo, Panto in 2008, with follow up LP Two Dancers arriving a year later, and third album Smother landing in 2011.
