Wiki joins Emma-Jean Thackray on remix of "Golden Green"
New York rapper Wiki has hopped on a remix of Emma-Jean Thackray's Yellow track "Golden Green".
In a month's time Emma-Jean Thackray's debut album Yellow will turn one, and today (25 May) Thackray has shared a new remix of "Golden Green", which features contributions from New York rapper Wiki.
Thackray said of the remix, "We made something really special, as Wiki painted such an intimate picture of a moment at home with a lover. You can smell the cup of hot tea he describes. You can feel the sheets on your skin. I felt the warmth of the sun coming in through a gap in the blinds. The choruses he brought to the song are so perfect, because "Golden Green" is actually about how I met my partner. It’s about those first moments together and the things about them that stick out and become entwined in your memory of them forever."
Wiki's appearance on the "Golden Green" remix marks his first outing since January's "2022 INTRO".
