WHY? auction off chance to have dinner/record with band
Following Jeff Tweedy’s recent auctioning of his producing skills for his children’s prep school, indie-rap outfit WHY? have decided to get in on the fun by giving their fans the chance to record with, get remixed by and even have a whole homemade dinner cooked for them by members of the band.
While not for charity (gotta earn a living somehow), the Anticon group are offering a variety of fun, useful and otherwise quite awkward services on the website Bandpage.
Such “experiences” include having Josiah Wolf play on one of your tracks for $3000, Doug McDiarmid writing you your very own palindrome for $25 and frontman Yoni Wolf cooking you dinner for $1000.
We hope those ingredients come exclusively from Wholefoods for that price.
