White Stripes, Flaming Lips, Foals & more announce special Record Store Day releases

A list of new special releases has been announced for the upcoming international Record Store Day.
Among these are reissues from the likes of White Stripes and Flaming Lips, new music from Surfer Blood and Iron & Wine, plus much more.
This year’s Record Store Day takes place on Saturday 20 April. Check a full list of newly-announced releases below:
- 10th anniversary double vinyl reissue of White Stripes’ Elephant.
- Flaming Lips re-release 1997 record Zaireeka on four 12″ discs intended to be played simultaneously.
- New non-album 7″ single from Iron & Wine.
- 7″ vinyl of The Black Keys’ cover of The Stooges’ 1969 track ‘No Fun’.
- Foals’ new album Holy Fire released on vinyl, along with a 7″ containing a new song and a Friendly Fires remix.
- Built to Spill reissue their 2000 live album on vinyl and CD.
- Tegan and Sara release special ‘Closer’ remix LP, featuring Yeasayer and more.
- Surfer Blood release single from upcoming new album.
