White Stripes announce full 10 year reissue of Elephant
Jack White has announced the reissue of his former band The White Stripe’s classic album Elephant to mark the 10th anniversary of the record’s release.
Elephant was first reissued on a limited-edition vinyl for Record Store Day via White’s Third Man Records but is now going to be fully reissued again on 27 August.
According to Third Man, the album was mastered direct from the original, analogue source from the 2002 recordings at Toe Rag Studios, this is different from the Record Store versions as they were pressed on colour vinyl. The new release will come on 180 gram double black vinyl packaged inside a double-gatefold, printed inner sleeve with an MP3 download card.
